This article was included on the second page of the April 2nd, 1985 edition of The Quad. It describes the 1974 plan by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to ensure equal opportunity. West Chester University a committee was formed to focus on the University's needs. This article was written to advertise that the committee was accepting proposals for programs in the 1985-1986 year. It notes that the committee funded past events including Black Student Union events, the April Arts Festival, and Black History Month, as well as events held by the Hispanic Student Union.
