IGA Report: Bookstore survey to be conducted

This article was published on the 7th page of the March 26th, 1985 edition of The Quad. Yvette Stavropoulous writes about the IGA General Assembly meeting held on March 19th at which they agreed to a student survey which would explore the need to extend bookstore hours. The meeting also included a motion to reimburse candidates for campaign publicity supplies and an announcement by Vice President Jim Rizzio that "a survey on the plus/ minus grading system at WCU would be conducted along with the bookstore survey." Finally, The Black Student Union and the Women's Center sponsored the poet Natassia Shange's speech on April 12th 1985. Shange was the author of "For Colored Girls Who Are Considering Suicide When the Rainbow Isn's Enuf."
