Abbe, Friars donate fund to housekeeper

Cheryl Kramer writes the story of an employee of West Chester University of 13 years whose home was lost in an accidental fire. The Abbe and Friar Societies raised $360 through a volleyball game, to aid Mrs. Alice Johnson during this time. The story also notes that the Johnson family received donations of clothing and money from neighbors, the National Student Speech, Language, and Hearing Association as well as fellow housekeeping staff.
