IGA summary: Assemblyaccomplishes a multitude of work The 1967-1968 session of IGA has accomplished the following to date: Conducted an election which resulted in a revised IGA constitution.Began development of a student court system, a men's judicial committee, and an Interfraternity Council. Approved constitutions for QUAD ANGLES, the Fencing Club, Sigma Tau Gamma, Lambda Chi Alpha, the West Chester State Historical Society, the Karate Club, Kappa Sigma Alpha, and Pi Lambda Phi. Constitutions for Phi Epsilon Pi and Sigma Alpha lota are under consideration for approval. Established policies for IGA representatives' for students'holding more than one office at a time, and for submission of an organizational constitution to IGA. , Appointed Bill Harvey as coordinator with the National Student Association. Appointed Randy Blades as legislative secretary to make more effective bills for a stronger student government. Organized a food investigation committee. Organized a list of stores offering student discounts. Announced student members on academic committees. Organized and held a fall leadership conference. Scheduled five main IGA social events. Established a fine arts festival committee in conjunction with QUAD ANGLES. Requested and obtained an extension of Christmas vacation. Sponsored Spirit Weekend for the Clarion football game. Considered the purchase of a Student Union separate from the state. Approved the new absence policy. Approved the hiring of Robert Croney as bookstore manager. Approved the USNSA insurance plan for West Chester State College.Approved the proposal to build a ski slope on South Campus, but made no financial commitment.
