This article is included in the "letters to the editor" section of The Quad, published on May 5th, 1982. This letter, written by Wilma Ford, describes the event hosted by the "WSC chapter of the NAACP on Tuesday evening, April 20th. During this event, Dr. Alvin Poussaint the dean of students at Harvard Medical School gave a lecture. The lecture discussed the challenges faced by black students on predominantly white campuses, and the way both white and black students could help these issues.
