Faculty, students attend ethnic reception

On Wednesday October 22nd, 1986, an Ethnic Studies Reception was held. This annual event was hosted by the Ethnic Studies Institute and attended by thirty-seven faculty members and students. The reception described upcoming events, courses, and organizations such as the Black Student Union and the Hispanic Student Union. This article described the event in detail and went on to describe the goal of the Ethnic Studies Institute to work for human rights and bring awareness to the value of ethnic diversity.
