Text
paid advertisement — The party to celebrate "The Third Coming of Marty Watkins," normally held on the 3rd Sunday in September, will not be held this year. Professor Watkins, fired twice by the Multi-Faceted people in the English Department, is the only professor in the 350-years of American education to be so honored. Instead of a party, two scholarships will be awarded to those individuals who over the years have shown a determined dedication to democracy and an obstinate and persevering opposition to bigots, bigotry, and intolerance. In addition, Recitation Hall, where Professor Watkins now works (?!), will be known as Resurrection Hall, effective Sunday, September 17,1978. Why not?
