FINAL SPRING EDITION
I.G.A. ELECTION RESULTS
The Veteran-Black Student Union coalition was a a success! The Vet-BSU coalition supported 12 candidates in the past IGA election and 7 of those 12 candidates were victorious:
OFFICERS
President Rick Montoro (Vet)
Vice President Vernon Newman (BSU)
REPRESENTATIVES
Robert Gleason (Vet)
Renee Kelley (BSU)
Frank Brookes (Vet)
Fred Gaskins (Vet)
Laura Boston (BSU)
The the first time, at least four veterans will be serving in the IBA assembly. This means that for the upcoming school year veterans will have individuals within the IGA system to combat the many financial and institutional problems that all veterans face.
Special thanks to those individuals who were essential in mailing campaign materials, campaigning for candidates and especially to all veterans who turned out to vote.
