West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Student Newspapers, The Quad, 1988 Vol. 56 No. 12
The "Announcements" section of the Tuesday, Feburary 16th, 1988 edition of The Quad, included a notice for a Black Women Student's Support Group that was being developed by Beverly Lindsey, a WCU Graduate Student. The article also notes that she was working as a graduate assistant at the Women's Center at this time. In addition, there was a note for the lecture scheduled to be given by Pamela Freeman on Tuesday, February 16th, 1988. Freeman was a women's health activist and the co-founder of the National Black Women's Health Project. This event was hosted by the Black Student Union as well as The Women's Center.
